Our Partner Kavita Jolly has been in the legal practice for the last 15 years. After completing her Bachelors in Economics from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai and Bachelors in Law (LLB) from GLC Law College, Mumbai, she obtained an LLM in International Business Law from the University of Manchester where she gained an in depth insight in International Competition laws, Trade Practises, Intellectual Property rights and Corporate Law. During her time in Manchester Kavita was also research assistant for a published international OECD report on Best Practises for Consumer Policy. While in Manchester she also was Secretary of the Manchester Law Society. Kavita returned to Mumbai in 2007 and worked at Pangea3, one of the pioneer legal outsourcing companies in India. Thereafter, Kavita joined the chambers of Advocate Rajan Hiranandani and since has been involved in several complex real estate deals and now spear heads various property transactions including commercial and retail leases pan India as well as residential, commercial, industrial and land conveyance transactions in the state of Maharashtra, and advises on the modalities of each deal, overlooks the due diligence and compliances required on each matter. Kavita has completed various eminent Mumbai based restaurant deals that work on profit/revenue sharing models. She has counselled clients on Family Settlements, Trusts, Wills and Testamentary Succession matters. Kavita has a vast experience on commercial contracts and has concluded various agreements including vendor contracts, facility management agreements, franchise agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements and publishing agreements.
